Challenge
Soot Soldiers was operating without a defined brand system—making it difficult to differentiate in a crowded service category or build a cohesive presence across marketing and customer touchpoints.
At the same time, their name carried militant tone that risked feeling at odds with the expectations of homeowners seeking reassurance, clarity, and professionalism.
The business needed more than an identity—it needed a structured foundation for how it communicates, presents itself, and builds trust across every interaction.
The brand system was translated into real-world applications to support visibility, clarity, and consistency.
Transformation
Soot Soldiers now presents as a cohesive, well-defined, and approachable brand—one that balances their value and strengths with reassurance for homeowners.
The system aligns strategy, messaging, and visual identity across all touchpoints, equipping marketing, customer communication, and content development with the consistency needed to differentiate and build a stronger presence.
This rebrand also increased the valuation of the company, and it sold to new owners within the year--exceeding executive expectations.
A full truck wrap established a strong, recognizable presence in the field.
Branded apparel and patches reinforced a cohesive and professional presence during service interactions.
